I was informed that the initial car I wanted had "frame damage," so they offered me a different vehicle. I should never have accepted this. They pulled a Bait and Switch, the car I got gave me nothing but problems. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, literally anywhere else. Such a shady and dishonest dealership.
The initial purchase of the car went without a problem. Of course the dealer and in this case a very dishonest dealer sold us a car that had supposedly passed inspection three days before we purchased it. So answer me this, how does a car pass inspection with a major leak and a faulty steering part, a very obviously faulty steering part?? The answer to this question is that it would appear they have something going on with a garage that passes their inspections when they should not pass inspection. Something I will be looking into.
What if a single mum needed a car, who was struggling as it is to afford the bills, to suddenly get a car that passed inspection 3 days previous, to be faced with a $700 bill to get it right. A faulty steering part can be fatal and this dealership sold a car openly with a part that if not working correctly could kill someone. I would not recommend this dealership, they openly lied to us, openly dishonest and they DO NOT stand behind their warranty. They take your money easily enough, but if there is a problem with the car you purchased, they won't care to step up to the plate and sort it out like any real man would.
The prices may seem right, but they fob dangerous vehicles on you that wouldn't pass an inspection from a proper dealership. I will be adding to this review any news regarding the reports to the authorities that have been made.
I have already informed the local authorities about this situation, as well as the DMV. We noticed the problem a day after purchase and had a qualified and very experienced mechanic go over the car for us. Within a second of looking underneath the car the leak was diagnosed, the leaked fluids had been on there for some time as you could see the build up of caked on fluid. I am not a mechanic and even I could see it. So this issue was an issue 100% when it went through the so called inspection. When contacted about this I got the normal dealership BS about how I should expect problems on a car that is used.
From this experience our second car purchase this year will be a brand new lease vehicle. The price works out almost the same and we don't do many miles per year. Please look elsewhere before you buy from this dealer.
Well this just had over 70k on the clock so hardly a mega mileage car and we were not informed of any issues with the car. We were sent a check for to cover the steering part, NOT labor, a job that a dealership would charge $200 for. Luckily I know someone that can do it for me. They took no responsibility over the major leak, totally disregarding it in fact. At a dealership this is a job that can set you back as much as $550. I got the usual "it wasn't like that when we had it", well it was very very much like that and I have the proof. Again luckily I know someone that can fix it for me as a favor. But what if I wasn't in a position to be so lucky?? I would easily be out of pocket by $700.
