My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Holiday Inn Binghamton this past August and had an absolutely lovely experience! Jenny, Colleen, and the entire staff were extremely attentive, welcoming, and professional throughout the entire planning process and the evening itself. We had a truly wonderful time and received many compliments from our guests. Thank you for contributing to our perfect wedding day!
Staff was AMAZING. We had 3 small dogs with us, which we expected their presence to be a burden to the fellow guests and staff, but EVERYONE looked so happy to have them there. Very friendly, and not in the superficial staff way (I have been a in the service industry before). No, this staff was GENUINELY personable and nice. From the men walking around inside keeping the place clean, to the front desk people, to the bartender, the breakfast host, all were amazing to be around. It is nice to be in an atmosphere where the staff seem to be treated well and/ or genuinely like their job. We will be coming here every time we want a short vacation from our local home :)
Run of the mill holiday inn. The rooms were a little small, and felt slightly dirty and dingy. The carpets were definitely a little dirty and the furniture a little dusty. The bathroom was clean enough!
Rooms are very small. It is such a tight space on one side of the bed you can tell housekeeping has rarely cleaned in that corner. There was someone else's sock still in the floor. Staff is very friendly and food in the hotel was typical average good hotel fare. I was here for a conference, I would not choose this hotel in the future on my personal time.
We won't go back. :(
Disappointed ++. First night we couldn't cool the room less than 78°. More important...had GHOST ANTS in our bathroom! Gave us another room but they only offered $25 off. Second room we couldn't lock the deadbolt. Told them but it never got fixed. No hair blow dryer as promised (in each room). Food...fair
Unfortunately there's no complimentary breakfast. If you're staying in the area, it might be a better bet to look at the hotels in Vestal. They're infinitely cleaner and of a higher quality.
