We recently needed the services of the Savage Funeral Home. All of the staff was very helpful and caring. Mr. Peter Savage was extremely understanding of the unusual situation we were facing in that we were the only remaining kin to the deceased and we lived many hundreds of miles away. Every effort was made to accommodate our schedule and our needs. There was always a feeling of honesty and straightforwardness throughout the proceedings. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who finds themselves in this awful situation. Mr. Savage is very helpful with all of the auxilary plans that go along with the funeral arrangements...things that one often forgets when you are stressed. I am very grateful to these people.
Savage Funeral Service not only took wonderful care of our family during this difficult time but we found them to be very generous with the local veterans groups. Very professional. Our family member had not looked that good in a very long time due to cancer. The attention to detail was excellent and much better than another local funeral home we used two years ago. Highly recommended to all.
Savage Funeral home is by far the best funeral home in broome county. My mom passed away November 12th, 2017 and Peter Savage treated me like family. As he has with three other funerals he's done for my family. He answered every question and talked me through the whole process. He makes it so easy to deal with this hardship.
