I've always enjoyed shopping at price chopper. I don't shop at no other stores. I love the deals and prices price chopper offers.
I'd love to have the company to come closer to where I live in the country. As, I drive over 15 miles to get to the closest to do my shopping. Please, come to my town of Nineveh, New York. As, the only country store is very expensive and no other store to compete with.
Good prices. Very good butcher with a nice selection of meats. Bakery and deli are marginal as are the prepared foods. Parking lot always seems crowded and difficult to navigate. Still, probably the best supermarket within the city limits.
The cashiers or lack of are a joke at best. The cashiers at self checkout tend to wander off when you need them the most. Finally their prices are so high compared to wegmans its like their competing with weis markets.
This particular store is a far cry from the one in Endicott, but a good place to find some good Latin American flavored ingredients
Good place for groceries, but not for all items. Save A Lot, which is close by, is way better for some items like rice, frozen vegetables, seafood ( including fish). Though, if I am to choose, I will go to Price Chopper only when I do not have enough time to go to Walmart.
I have been a long time customer of price chopper but the store is slipping. Things to pay attention to are as follows the meat is over priced by alot. The bakery is fresh frozen and thawed. Really not kidding ever notice the moisture in the containers or how mushy they are just got at night and you can see the workers bringing stuff out the freezers to sit out over night on a rack.
