This is a clean, brightly it, well-stocked store in a safe neighborhood. In fact, my girlfriend and I stumpled upon it when our car was in the garage getting work done, and we ate a nearby restaraunt (there are many on the same street) and went for a walk after!

In short, Allie's Boulevard Book Store (which has a sign out fron that simply says "Adult Outlet") gets a 4 out of 5 from me, with a jump to a full five stars if they can just get the prices of toys under control a bit.
Inside, there are several booths available for private viewing. I cannot comment on the cleanliness or quality of the booths or videos being shown therein (as I have not been in that section of the store), but the audio track can be heard in the actual store, which is a bit off-putting.
If you're looking for comics or DVDs however, it's worth a stop, as we noticed several items marked on clearance at below-cost prices. There is also a small section of hookas and glassware.
The variety is truly great here: videos (catering to all tastes), lubes, jewelry/ piercing items, comics, books, beads, wedges...there's even an adult candy section! Of course, the required toys are here as well, with phallic-shaped devices making up 3/4 of the toy inventory (which is a bit of a disappointment, as there are certainly more options for men these days than there used to be). What toys there are for men (who wish to be the 'plug' and not the 'socket', that is) are a bit overpriced. For example, Tenga products that normally retail for $12.95 elsewhere will set you back $19.95 here. I have to say that, being a man, this section was disappointing. I'd love to spend my dollars in a local establishment but, in this economy, there are places out there with greater variety and cheaper prices for male toys.
