I have been coming to this store for about one year now. I've purchased all my fish and most of my fish supplies from the store. The fish staff are generally knowledgable yet, always busy and sometimes are difficult to get a good conversation out of. Not their fault, its just a busy place. If you can get there when its dead, you'll find they will talk to you about the animals until they need to help a customer.
Every time I have bought fish here they have ick. I bought a hermanns tortoise here for my mother. Was sold to me as healthy. He died about a month later. She took care of him exactly as directed. There was something wrong with him from the start. Hardly moved, and was very tiny. Temps were tight. Humidity right. Food right. Correct lighting. Nice store. But pass on the animals. I should have gone to a reputable breeder.
As far as prices go, I find they are on par with other chain stores. Unfortunately no one can come close to Amazon, but I am certainly someone who loves instant gratification so I don't usually go to Amazon unless its a huge price difference.
My wide and I were looking for water for our Beta fish, Geno. We went to Petco before paid $10 for 2.5 gallons. I prefer to put Geno in water which us best for him. This time when came to get water again, we went to Petco no 2.5 gallon only half gallon for $7. My wife suggested we go here at first we found salt water and knew that wasn't it and asked an employee who worked there she said that they do have a 5 gallon container which they can fill with fish water and only cost 45 cents a gallon, also when we need more we can simply go there with the container and get more water for 45 cents per gallon. Of course we will be going to Creature Comforts more for our beta fish supplies.

Great place, smaller business, believe they are locally owned! Always very helpful my mom's dog is having issues with her legs they were very comforting to her and helped her find what she needed.
I would commend Steve for his Fishy knowledge, and I will be going to this store for years to come.
