Ronald R. Benjamin had a client that was beaten to death while in Broome County Jail by Guards 15 Minutes after he complained to his own Lawyer R. R. Benjamin on the phone in 2015 and another client he had as a civil client that persons sister is on google complaining that Ronald R. Benjamin had him prosecuted and sent to prison for 8 and a half years for a false criminal case unrelated to the civil case R. R. Benjamin was representing him on. R. R. Benjamin filed false charges on me the day after the civil trial he screwed me on when he had gave a answering machine tape from his office that said press 3 to erase and re rerecord and I was pressing three deleting messages expressing what happened after 3 day civil trial that was ruled friv after trial. R. Benjamin my lawyer turned the tape from his machine in from his office the next day to the police and charged me with harassment to keep me from court in civil action he frauded up big time. Lucky I was living in PA at the time or I would of been beaten to death in Broome County Jail also. He turned in false tape that machine was not erasing when I was pressing three to re re record in order to keep me from going to Court on his fraud. Ronald R. Benjamin was also convicted before he ever was a lawyer then he was let in to be a lawyer he blew a judge I heard. no B.S.Then he was censored by 3 other courts. Now he has Lisc. to kill extort and the such He has people complaining all over GOOGLE REVIEWS this and more on his Google reviews Burn in hell Ron. P.S. My opinion: I'd describe Benjamin as Incompetent, negligent, unprofessional, sloppy and harmful to his own clients. Court documentation shows a long history of his being sanctioned by judges for egregious conduct. I believe his license was even revoked in one state. With my case, he made unbelievable errors. He did not lose the case. His errors and his failure to respond to notices from the judge meant the case was never heard. He got the case thrown out of court after the statute of limitations ran out-meaning I've been exposed to all the risks (retaliation) of filing a law suit without ever accessing due process. I understand that Benjamin threatens people who write negative reviews of him. Well I won't be bullied. His mistakes are well documented. His long history of egregious conduct that harms his own clients is well documented. Spare yourself the heartache and destruction that others have experienced. No lawyer would have been better for me than the destruction I experienced by hiring Benjamin. And, to Judge Thomas McAvoy: shame on you for allowing this lawyer to continue to harm people who entrust him to represent them! You should be ashamed to have allowed this to continue.

He's a leech, plain and simple. $9300 for 1 month of work, and a terrible outcome in court! He's notorious for nickel and diming his clients! Every last cent he can get from you he will! Avoid at all costs!
I've read a quasi-positive review from someone who had a phone conversation with Benjamin. Yes, he can be affable. But affable and competent are two different characteristics. Being affable helps him attract clients. Unfortunately, incompetence and associated errors and neglect of his duties can be devastating to his clients. I learned that the hard way. Hopefully you will avoid the hardship by looking for representation elsewhere.
